As long as we are discussing locations I'd like to mention Mark Grillo with Equis again. You have chatted with him in the past. As we have networked out here Mark's name has come up many times. And I have met with Mark on several occasions. He is very in tune with the market and very connected in the community. I am not trying to say anything negative about our current representative, but I notice nearly every property he recommends is his own listing. Not surprising as I would probably do the same thing. What I like about Mark is he seems to suggest properties that are right in line with our strategy. I think he could be a great resource for us as we are looking for property that fits our original model. I know you guys had an aggressive agenda the last time you were here and didn't have enough time to meet with Mark. I really think he's somebody you would be impressed with. He mentioned to me that he'd be willing to travel to your office to show you his information. I know you have a full calendar, but if I could ever facilitate a meeting between you two I sure would! Like I said, he's impressive and comes highly recommended. I've met a lot of RE guys since I got here. He's the only one I would make these comments for.

On numerous occasions, Mark has helped me to grow my business through the many referrals and connections to different decision makers. I wanted to send you a quick email about my business relationship with Mark Grillo. I see that he has been nominated for the Chamber's Brian Vogt Community Lead of the Year award.
Mark has positively affected my business in many ways in the time I have known him. Although he just recently moved to Denver, he has thrown himself fully into the business community whole heartedly. His personable rapport has helped him become very successful at this task. Mark stepped up to the plate by joining the Board for my Colorado Business Leads group. In the time he has been an acting Board Member, he has helped us at becoming one the fastest growing CBL groups. He also brings a lot of value to the group with his knowledge and contacts that he brings to our meetings.
I think the most powerful reason why Mark should win this award is his strong similarity to many of Brian Vogt's amazing characteristics. Passion, humor, charisma, extremely driven, and how both Brian and Mark are both the sort of people you just want to be around and thrive off their great character. I have worked very close with Brian at the Denver Botanic Gardens and have seen him in action using these qualities and I feel very thankful to have been able to. I can see Mark in the future, becoming more and more involved in the community and becoming a leader that Brian is in our community.

I felt quite honored when Mark Grillo asked me to write a letter of recommendation for him. It is always a delight seeing Mark's dedication and passion in making his Chamber membership a success.
Mark brings a great deal of talent, knowledge and skill to the Chamber. Unlike many people these days, whenever he adopts a cause or pursues a new interest he is guaranteed to be highly committed. He has demonstrated this in his participation in the Economic Development Group, volunteering to give brief synapses' for the quarterly state of the economy newsletter. His dedication to the Renewable Energy taskforce is influential as he is always suggesting new ideas and giving though provoking feedback. I wanted to take just a brief moment to say a few words about my associate and my friend Mark Grillo. He's really quite extraordinary! I'm not quite sure how he does it, (or maybe I should say how he continues to do it) but Mark is a bundle of energy who constantly and consistently works to assist others be the best that they can be!
I've never had a conversation with Mark without him asking me what he can do for me. His contacts and circle of friends is so extensive that he has the ability to assist anyone at anytime. A new employee needs assistance in beginning her networking circle…done. The Chamber needs someone to organize and staff an upcoming event…done. A business is looking for assistance and guidance when it comes to charitable donations…done. My cat, who hates to be alone, needs food, water and a scratch behind the ears when I'm out of town…done!

As you might gather, candid and complete answers aren't likely to be forthcoming from a landlord broker because they would undermine tight relationships with landlords. Nor can adequate advice be expected from a good lawyer simply because the questions don't involve legal expertise. What's needed is expertise in real estate markets, expertise in building operations, expertise in landlord accounting practices -- and a policy of serving tenants exclusively.
